The NISC 24 Hour Run
The entire school community, will collaborate to accomplish a seemingly improbable venture - The NISC 24hr Challenge. This year we are also adding a collaborative creative element with our 24 hr mural, led by students from Miss Anna's IB Art classes.

NISC Hosts MRISA 2012 Senior Basketball Tournament
Congratulations to the NISC girls and boys. The girls ended up 4-1 with a hard fought battle against SSIS, the boys won the tournament with a win by one basket! It was a nail biter!! Also a huge thank you to our NISC community for supporting and hosting athletes. It has been a fantastic tournament and weekend.

Friends International Computer Training
NISC technology students from grade 8 and 10 spent Saturday morning training and solving computer challenges with staff from Friends International, an NGO that works with marginalised urban children and youth, their families and communities to become productive, independent citizens of their country.
These student lead workshops included tutorials on using spreadsheets, web design basics, and using the Google application suite in an NGO context.

Free Hugs
Grade 2/3 yellow, as part of their celebration unit watched a video about the way that some people celebrated their connection with other people. In response they decided to give out 'free hugs' during lunch. The reason the students gave is that there is not enough love in the world and they wanted the community at the school to know how much they cared.

Cultural Celebration Day at NISC
NISC's vision for this year's cultural celebration was to help students reflect on their own culture as well as appreciate the culture of other students in the school.

Phnom Penh Art Exhibit
Art by students of the Northbridge International School, titled Phnom Penh, was on display at the Intercontinental Hotel from 21 November until 12 December.
Students ranging in age from Grade 2/3 through Grade 12 have been busy at work representing different concepts of Phnom Penh. They are excited to share their artworks with the greater Phnom Penh Community.
NISC would like to thank the Intercontinental Hotel; with the help of Ms. Jenny Tchen, Mr. Simon Hall, Mr. Bobby Fajardo and Mr. Stefan Voogel; for hosting the art show which gives our students the opportunity to be part of this professional exhibit.
