We welcome you to Northbridge International School Cambodia (NISC)

As School Head, I welcome this opportunity to provide insights into our school and I encourage your family to become a part of our dynamic school community. We offer an outstanding educational program in first class facilities on a quiet and safe campus unlike any other in Cambodia.

What's Happening at NISC

NISC Construction has begun (13 February 2012)! - Phase I of the NISC campus architectural master plan which expands the school facilities to accommodate 1000 students has begun. A new Upper School Café will be complete for the opening of school in August, 2012. The first building of the new Primary School will open by November, 2012. In total, over the next six years, NISC will construct a new primary school (EL-6), libraries, performing arts center and an aquatics and sports hall. The plan also includes renovating and expanding the cafeteria, playgrounds and art, music, science and ICT studios and labs. We invite you to view the following (linked) architectural renderings, photos and videos which we will document as the projects unfold.

NISC Video - We invite you to view our NISC informational video. It provides authentic insight into the school experiences of our students, the beauty and functionality of our campus, the skills and passion of our teachers, and our commitment to the Programmes of the International Baccalaureate. Enjoy!

NISC Hosts Senior MRISA Basketball Tournament - Please check out the MRISA 2012 Tournament website, designed and maintained by NISC Senior students, to find out more about the tournament, and to follow the results of the teams. The competition will take place on the 9th and 10th of February 2012.

Mission In Action Trips - The NISC Mission in Action Programme is designed to provide students in grades 6-12 with an understanding of and an appreciation for Cambodia, its people, history, geography and the Khmer language, culture and traditions. The program provides students the opportunity to explore issues of global significance through a local context. Each grade group travels to separate locations around Cambodia and spends three days actively participating in a variety of learning experiences. Access the special edition of the Mekong Messenger.

PYP Authorization Received - We are pleased to announce that Northbridge International School Cambodia has received official notification that we are now fully authorized to deliver the PYP Programme. This compliments our DP Programme authorization and our MYP Programme Candidate status. We are targeting 2012-2013 to host the MYP authorization visit.

Student Reflections - As an IB World School, we value and respect reflection as a key to personal understanding and growth. To emphasize the importance of reflection in the learning process, we devote a section of each Mekong Messenger to particularly insightful student reflections. These writings serve as a window into the minds of our students. Student Reflections
